The Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and Ottawa Business Journal held their annual Best Ottawa Business Award ceremony (The BOBs) on Saturday, November 10th at the Westin. The awards recognize Ottawa’s top businesses, celebrating innovation and entrepreneurship within the Ottawa region. BOB awards were handed out to 25 companies in 17 categories, recognizing and honouring a variety of different industries.
We are pleased to announce that the awards for both “Newsmaker of the Year” and “Real Estate Deal of the Year” were presented to RendezVous LeBreton for IllumiNATION LeBreton.
Back in April, the illumiNATION LeBreton proposal was selected for the reincarnation of the LeBreton Flats space in Ottawa – a project that our team at Barry J. Hobin & Associates is pleased to be a part of along with an impressive list of local and international architects, developers, designers, and innovators. The illumiNATION LeBreton plan calls for significant public space designed for regular use, and five unique neighbourhoods each with a character based on social services, retail, office and residential space. It will also be home to a brand new major events centre and museums providing an opportunity to enhance tourism and celebrate Ottawa’s unique heritage.
