Sean O’Rourke

Sean O’Rourke is an Architectural Technologist, Certified Passive House Designer, and Project Lead at Hobin Architecture. Since joining the firm in 2016 following a successful co-op placement, he has contributed to a wide range of residential, mixed-use, institutional, and master planning projects, playing an integral role in project coordination, technical development, and delivery.
Recently promoted to Project Lead, Sean works closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to guide projects through all phases, from early planning and design to construction documentation and implementation. His strong technical expertise in Revit and AutoCAD, combined with his collaborative approach and attention to detail, enables him to deliver practical, well-coordinated solutions that support successful project outcomes.
Sean’s passion for sustainable design is reflected in his Certified Passive House Designer designation, and he is committed to continually expanding his knowledge and expertise within the profession. Known for his reliability, proactive mindset, and strong communication skills, he is a trusted member of the team who helps move complex projects forward with clarity and confidence
Outside the office, Sean has been actively involved in the hockey community since 2009, bringing the same dedication, leadership, and teamwork to the sport that he demonstrates in his professional career.
