Doug Van Den Ham is an Intern Architect and Associate at Hobin Architecture with over 20 years of experience shaping communities through thoughtful planning and design. A graduate of Carleton University’s Azrieli School of Architecture & Urbanism, Doug has played a key role in concept development, public consultation, and municipal approvals for a wide range of projects, including master planning, infill housing, mixed-use developments, and high-density residential communities.

Doug’s expertise extends beyond design—he is deeply familiar with Ottawa’s planning tools, zoning by-laws, and urban design guidelines, and has successfully navigated complex approvals processes.
