You Give, We Give 2022

August 18, 2022

January 2023 Update: The results are in!

Now complete, Hobin Architecture’s You Give We Give 2022 fundraising campaign was instrumental in raising over $200,000 for SPAO, Centre 507, Odawa Native Friendship Centre and Ten Oaks Project including Hobin Architecture’s $40,000 in matched donations. Over $65,000 was raised for The Mission and Movember through additional programs.

“The support from Hobin Architecture came at just the right time. With increased costs across the board, reductions in available grants, and increased demands on programming, 2022 was a challenging year for many non-profits. Hobin Architecture used their platform to raise the profile of four non-profits, helping us connect to new donors, and remind former donors we are still around. Thank you Hobin Architecture for helping us finish the year strong.”

—Lux, Executive Director of Ten Oaks Project

“The campaign generated 86 first time donors totaling $21,048 in new donations [before Hobin’s $10k match]. By far the largest number of new donors we’ve ever accumulated during a single campaign. For a small grass roots agency 86 new donors is huge for us.

—Richard LeBlanc, Executive Director of Centre 507

Together, we can make a difference.

Not-for-profit organizations in the arts, culture, housing and social support sectors need your generosity now more than ever. The important work these groups do is vital to our community and for many is a lifeline to a brighter future.

Rising food and energy prices are growing hurdles for charity groups who already operate with tight margins. Continuity within a pandemic has been a daily challenge. And for these organizations, economic uncertainty has made planning a bleak and disheartening exercise.

But together, we can make a difference if we act fast.

In its first year, Hobin Architecture’s “You Give, We Give” campaign raised well over $100,000 toward four local charities: BGC Ottawa, Multifaith Housing Initiative, The Mission and Cornerstone Housing. Help us generate even more this year!

Please give generously and we will do the same.

During the months of September through December 2022, Hobin Architecture pledges to match new donations to four vital organizations in our community, up to a total of $10,000 per beneficiary.

Here’s how it works. Visit the links below to make your donation before December 31. Tell them you were referred by Hobin Architecture. Then, during the month of January 2023, Hobin Architecture will make an equivalent donation (up to $10,000) to each charity.

This program is intended to stimulate new support for these organizations in need. Therefore, we are limiting the matching program to new donors. If you have donated before, please continue to do so—your financial support means the world to these organizations.
