March 22, 2018

The General Contractors Association of Ottawa‘s “Integrity and Ethics Award” honours an individual who has demonstrated a consistently high standard of integrity and ethics in dealing with local construction industry participants. Presented on March 8th at The Rideau Club, we are thrilled to announce that Barry Hobin, founding partner of Hobin Architecture, was the 2017 recipient of this prestigious award.

A professional, mentor and colleague – Barry has been a leader in the field of architecture throughout the Ottawa area for almost four decades. A Fellow and past President of the Board of the RAIC – IRAC, Barry has also generously donated his time to a number of not-for-profit organizations and volunteered on local boards including Ottawa Hospital, Carleton University (Official) and the Union Mission. Barry’s commitment to our firm, our growing staff, and to our city makes us proud to celebrate his success and continue to work together to support and build a strong community.
