Ryan Fleming

Ryan Fleming is an Architect with a passion for designing environments that contribute to a more sustainable future. Through his pursuit of Passive House Designer certification and a LEED specialization, Ryan has developed strong expertise in sustainable design and high-performance buildings.
“The ethos of Passive House, and sustainability in general, has been so integral to my experience thus far in architecture – the climate crisis and our impact on the planet is not going away on its own, so it is our responsibility as professionals in construction to do our part in making sure the built environment serves us, and the planet, better.”
During his time at Hobin Architecture, Ryan has contributed to a diverse range of projects, including long-term care homes, seniors’ housing, master-planned communities, and custom residences. He brings strong design communication skills to each project, helping clients and stakeholders understand and engage with a project’s vision while balancing practical, budgetary, and technical considerations.
Ryan is also an active member of Hobin’s Design & Innovation Committee, where he helps explore emerging ideas and design approaches that advance the practice’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
